In Which Mommy is Sleep Depr-zzzzzzz...

In the past two weeks, sleep has become a precious commodity in the M. household. Camilla is teething and clingy, so naps/sleep have become a battle. I keep wondering when she'll just collapse and sleep for 18 hours straight to make up for the sleep she's losing now, but I have a feeling that won't happen. I wish...I fantasize about sleep.
Here's how our day went yesterday (sleep-wise).
8:00: wake up. We won't even discuss the “sleep” from the night before.
11:00 she is super sleepy. Put her down her a nap and go into her room to check on her after realizing that she's suspiciously quiet. She is laying on the opposite side of the bed, no covers, and has her diaper half-off. I put her diaper back on, give her the paci, and tell her to go night-night. She screams like I'm killing her for about 5 minutes. After repeating this process about 8 times, I give up and let her get back up.
2:15 she finally gives in and takes a 20 minute nap.
4:30 she's getting super cranky, so we start the nap process. By 5:30, I'm so tired that I just put her in bed with me, and we both sleep for an hour.
8:00 bed time. She wakes up every 20-40 minutes, and takes about 10-15 minutes to go back to sleep.
1:00 I put her in bed with us. By 1:30 she seems to be knocked out, so I attempt to sneak off to pee. I hear something while washing my hands, and when I come back into the bedroom, she's sitting straight up in the bed, giving me a sleepy-drunk grin. It's impossible to be frustrated with her when she looks that cute. I take her to the living room and we watch an old musical. By this time it's around 3:30, and she's wide awake.
4:00 finally, a semi-deep sleep. She sleeps for the next 3 hours. Ahhhhh...
7:00 wakes up for a bottle, then sleeps for another hour.
8:00 I wake up to a happy little monkey. Good morning, mommy!
It's a good thing I had her while I'm young...that's all I can say. I just keep telling myself...it's just a phase...it's just a phase.

Here are a few updated pictures of the Princess.
