The Sky is Falling.

The past few months have been very chaotic. One candidate goes here and the other goes somewhere else. Last night, however, was the birth of a new chapter in our country's history. A new President was elected.
To be honest I did not vote for Senator Barack Obama. But he is now my President and all I can do is pray that God will guide him and this great nation according to His will.
I'm reminded of a verse in the Bible that states:
"Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

" Romans 13:1 (NIV)

So whether you're Democrat or Republican, pray and hope that the government, with the help and guidance of God, will put this great nation on the right track.

This is so true. When I signed in to Facebook this morning, everyone's status updates were full of doom and gloom and panic.
Did I miss something? Did God suddenly stop caring about us? Does God suddenly stop being God when a Democrat goes into office? Last time I checked, He orchestrates pretty much everything that goes on down here on our wormy little planet. I think it's silly for people to act like the world has come to an end.
Really, crying like a child? It makes me angry. Grow up.
Be happy! Put a smile on that pouty face!
What if he is the Anti-Christ? Doesn't that just mean that the rapture is that much closer?
Am I happy about Obama's stand on some things? Absolutely not. Do I know what the next 4 years hold? No way.
But I know someone who does.
